It has been a while!!!

BEFOREAFTER

It has been a while since I have posted....that seems to be the trend lately. With Spring arriving, at least I think it is. We have been having really weird weather. Nice and then it gets really cold, maybe some snow, or rain, or WIND. LOTS of WIND. I have been feeling the urge to starts some long awaiting projects. We finally tackled the outside of our house. AHHHH, it is pretty much painted and I am so sick of painting I can't even explain. The week before we started painting the house I started a few other projects that also required painting. So, now you really understand why I don't want to paint for a while. But it is all so pretty! When you start on one project your mind starts flowing with all the other projects that you want to do, but they will have to wait for a while. I am tired and need to focus on the kiddos!

Amongst the painting we were able to throw Colton a little b-day party with a few of his friends. We took them swimming and then fed them with pizza, cupcakes, and ice cream. Poor guy, I painted right up to when the guests arrived. He has been a trooper the last couple of weeks while I have been painting. I can't believe that he is 5! He is such a blast.

Torrey's birthday is coming up soon. She will be 7. How is it that they grow up in the blink of an eye. I remember taking her home from the hospital knowing that my life will never be the same. It will be so blessed. I am grateful for them and I am the happiest with them all around me snuggling while we are watching a movie or reading a book together.

He wanted Noodles Macaroni and Cheese, so I found a copycat recipe and lets just say it does not taste like it. Oh well, he ate it and was happy. After we went to Cold Stone so he could get his favorite Cotton candy ice cream!

I'm glad he ate the mac & cheese - that's much better than a certain 4 year old I know. And just so you know, I don't have any unintelligent girlfriends! (unless the paint fumes are doing to your brain what they've done to mine).
