Summer and living here for a year has brought on the projects. My friend introduced us to a wonderful blog. knockoffwood.com You should check it out. We found plans for a beautiful bed and since Clint loves to build things we set off to Lowes. The bed was pretty much built in a day. But then came the sanding and 4 coats of paint and the 3 coats of clear finish. AND..........because I have project ADD I switched to our table in the middle of the bed project. We stripped and sanded the bed and with a little loving care with stain and varnish.......here is our table. I love them both. Thanks Clint for all your hard work and willingness to put up with me and my correcting him. Torrey has a little bit of me in her. She would walk around and show me what I missed or what did not look good and Clint would sit back and laugh!!!!!!!!!!

How pretty both of them turned out! I really like your bed, I might have to try to talk Jake into building one of those for us! Did my parents tell you we bought a house?! When it is a little closer I will post pictures, right now, I am GIDDY with EXCITEMENT -- btw it has a pool! Do you want to come visit? :)
Deana, so excited for you guys. It will be great to have all that space and land. The pool will also be a wonderful addition. I can't wait to see pictures. The bed was not that hard to make.
Umm do you thing Clint will make us a bed? We have been married 9 years and still no bedroom set. :) oh well maybe for our 10th anniversary! :) Way cute table too.
The table and bed are wonderful. I want to know what you use to clean the table with that makes it so shiny. I wasn't that successful with just water.
I just use water and then wipe it with a dry rag. But it is also the top coat I used. My benches are not as shiny because I did not use as many coats.
